Shooting Barrage Missile Storm RP Work thread

This will be a story for a possible story centering on aerial bullet raining battles. The setting will be a mechanized fantasy setting with a few medieval elements to it. This case being armor and swords and stuff, even though swords really aren't used all that much. The name of the planet will be Zephus. The world will be pretty much run on magic. Magic is further divided into four categories: Elemental, Mechanical, White, and Curse. Elemental magic is used by mages. This category is further divided into the basic combat elements of Earth, Wind, Ice, Fire, Light, Lightning, and Shadow. The Lightning combat element is used by engineers and cities to power locomotives, businesses, homes, and anything that takes powers while also being a combat element. Lightning is the only element that has its separate category in the Mechanical category, which is the most common magic category on the planet. White magic....if you've ever played an RPG at all, you should know what it does. Curse magic is the forbidden type of magic. It involves everything from regular curses to diseases and even just killing people outright. After a horrendous global war, the use of Curse magic was highly forbidden. Today, with the advent of flying machines, most battles are fought in the air. Why? Well, people just started doing that, especially after the world's global war, which resulted in the banning of all forms of Curse magic on the battle field and off it. Also coming from the battlefield is the ever popular flight bike. A hoverbike that was built to fly through the air, instead of over the surface of the ground. Today, it's used in all forms of everyday life, from sport to law enforcement. Though flight bikes are generally very expensive, so it's not as readily available as one might think. There's also its car brethren, the airstream car.

Classes:

Since everyone on Zephus uses magic, every class uses some form of magic and battles are fought in the air, there's bound to be some quirks.

Warriors: The warrior class is traditionally a tank class, using melee weapons and stuff. On Zephus, the proud warrior usually uses slow-moving, well armored flight bikes, airstream cars, or very rarely, flying animals and other contraptions or objects. Flight bikes and airstream cars in particular to a warrior are usually armed with plasma lances, used in flight bike jousting competitions. If anything, warriors actually prefer to use swords and weaponry they can hold in their hands when enemies get in too close. So that's what warriors do, they fly on heavy armored stuff and carry melee weapons when things fly in to closely while fighting from afar with heavy weaponry like mini-guns and beam cannons

Ranger: The Rangers usually prefer flight bikes for their swiftness and easy handling. They usually fight with light weaponry such as machine guns and rifles.

Mages: The mages prefer using their own magic versus relying heavily on their weapons. They usually use magic-based guns if ever any rigged weapons.

Transportation:

Methods of your character's transportation are not at all limited in this story, heck, you can even pull a daggum Superman and fly out their on your own while carrying a gun or two. However, flying animals have to have armor on them though. You MUST put what type of armor they have, should you choose a flying companion to carry your lard ass across the sky.

Flight bikes: Introduced during the world's global war, flight bikes are extremely popular for their speed, handling, durability, and just for being an originally military-only weapon. Flight bikes are further separated into three classes: Light, Sturdy, and Heavy.

Airstream cars: Almost as popular as the flight bike. Airstream cars were introduced about a decade after the flight bike was introduced. Air stream cars were created by taking hover cars and fitting them with more powerful flight bike engines. Because of this, most racing sports involve airstream cars and more civilians tend to like airstream cars over flight bikes, despite the flight bike's endearing popularity

Flight bike/airstream car classes:

Light: The fastest with the weakest armor and carrying the lightest weighted weaponry.

Sturdy: Heavier, better armor than the Light, flies at pretty fast speeds, faster than the Heavy. Carries some heavy weaponry.

Heavy: Heaviest, best armor, moves slower than the two classes, but carries bigger weapons.

Weapon limit:

I'm only limiting us to about three weapons at a time on flight bikes or airstream cars. As for characters riding animals, I dunno, we can talk that one over.

Weapon types:

Rider weapons:

Bladed weapons, ranged weapons, magic weapons.

Transport weapons(Only if these are mechanical transports like the flight bike and airstream car):

Beam/Laser weapons, Launcher weapons, Ballistic weapons, Magic weapons

Spells:

Spells can be used by any of the three classes, only fact is that the mages would have the strongest of the three. Spells would act sort of like strong finishing type moves as well as being projectile-type attacks that add more variety to the shots from the mounts, such as entire spread shots and such. How many should we have? Well to make it fair, we should put a limit on spells we'd have in our disposal, but since spells in this story would be way overpowered, we should also figure out how to limit that usage as well.

UBER SPELLS:

These spells are classified as gargantuan all-destroying type spells. They can only be used per flight and usually have names such as Fiery Blast Cannon. When we players use these spells, they should leave our characters feeling drained, but still capable of fighting. However, bosses can use these types of spells whenever the hell the want since this is a bullet hell RP after all.

LESSER SPELLS:

These are spells that can be used periodically, like missiles. They can be fired off multiple times without much drain on the user. Lesser spells can range anywhere in the Elemental magic field as well as the white magic field.

Missiles:

Mounted to sides of vehicles.

Vehicles can hold at most eight missiles total.

When fired, the missiles are magically replaced with a five second reload time.

Plot!:

On Zephus, and evil villain yet to be named plans to use his very powerful magic to decay the world and open the gate to the demon realm in order to merge Zephus with the demon realm. It's up to us, the heroes, to stop this evil before the world dies beneath our feet and is consumed by the evils of the demon realm.

we don't have to make all the spells uber powerful. There could be a different set of spells used by each of the classes, like the mage spells could be destructive with fireballs and lightning and such, rangers could have some white magic, and some shadow magic(to deal with invisibility or undetectablility) and warriors could have some mechanical magic, to augment the strength of their armor and the potency of their weapons.

as for the animal mounts, I think first we should decide on what animals to add, I propose dragons, griffins, giant eagles, maybe air-whales...

I dunno, I kinda wanna have the characters use a whacky named uber spell. Unless you really wanna give just that kind of thing to any bosses.

So five spells? One uber and four lesser spells?

And I guess we could do that since most of the bosses are demon rulers from the demon realm.

yes for the spells

I suggested epic spells, because I got this idea for an epic-level gun with this whole skeletal theme and it shoots flaming skulls, and it's called the Boner Rifle.
